Buttermilk Cinnamon Almond Strawberry Shortcake. Posted by P.J. I made a cake yesterday. . I wanted to make a white cake because I had a bunch of egg whites leftover from making ice cream. But when I was ready to make the batter I didn’t have my computer with me. . So I spread it into 3 pans and let it cook for a while. . The cakes are more dense than I’d hoped, but it worked well when I put the strawberry filling between the layers. 160; My “Strawberry Thing”, as George calls it. Links to this post.

I need to make some more marshmallows. And chocolate mousse. And probably some salad. I have adopted. (Really it should say "we" but I'm selfish today, and home alone.). First we got a boy. He is energetic and lovey and pretty. He is mostly a lab. Klay named him Chuk. Chuk has never ending energy. Then we got a girl. Visit a New Cou...

Exploits in the "Real" World. These are my misadventures in what people call the "Real" world. Other things. Sorta like posts, but not. Wednesday, October 29. Published by P.J. My house is going to be painted and furnished soon. I have a sort of schedule for a minute. I work 20 days and have 10 days off. Three of us cycle through this pattern. Or at least we did for a month. Then one of the other MWDs made the other mad. And now we might not have a schedule any more. 0 Things other people have to say.

PJ's Kitchen: The Problem With Posting
http://pjskitchen.blogspot.com/p/problem-with-posting.html
The Problem With Posting. I stll love posting on my blog. I still bake all the time. I still try new goodies and am always excited when people eat one. And extatic when they eat two. My problem is remembering to get my camra out and take pictures. For some reason I have a problem with adding posts about food that don't have pictures. So, in the mean time, if you want something else to read, I post about other exploits on this. And I'll do my best to get the camera going again. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).
