The Insouciant Sophisticate
A young professional's work wardrobe and ramblings. Friday, April 10, 2015. April 10: Inspired By. My adorable friend H arrived at Bible Study one week wearing a chambray top over a loose flouncy skirt and paired with boots. I gushed over the cuteness sharing that I have some spaghetti strap dresses I'd love to make work appropriate in a similar way. She encouraged me to try it and I finally did! Watch: Timex from JCPenney. Labels: What I Wore. Thursday, April 9, 2015. Pants: Joe Fresh from JCPenney.

Asymp; 19 Comments. As it happened I had a striped interlock in my stash and so of course I traced out the pattern and made my own version. I reviewed the pattern here. And below is the shape of the garment. You tuck in the pointy bits on the skirt, which makes a sort of little pocket, although I don’t think it is very usable as such, and provided your fabric is reasonably drapey the skirt will collapse into soft folds. You can also let the points stick out, but I prefer them tucked in. Is something very...

June 02, 2015. How much money are you wasting on Illinois auto insurance right now? The overwhelming majority of drivers out on the open road today (in Illinois as well as all over the country, for that matter) are overspending on their auto insurance sometimes significantly. We are talking about millions of Americans spending 30% more on their auto insurance than they should be, and worst of all, most of them aren’t even aware of the fact that they are throwing money down the drain in the first place.
The Insourcing | Bringing jobs back to America
Bringing jobs back to America. I am the reason for the trade deficit. I purchase products manufactured in developing countries, resulting in profits from the products to replenish foreign economies, not mine. I fail to see the health risks involved in purchasing products made in developing countries. Irresistibly low prices cause me to make careless purchases, allowing millions of dangerous products to be imported into the US; lead painted toys and radioactive tissue box holders are among the few.

Tuesday, 21 May 2013. 14th september- Independence, kindness and the joy of dancing. Today was my day off and independence day in Costa Rica. Still I worked th 9-12 shift despite only getting to bed at 4:30am. Exhausted! Felt drunk and dizzy. No hatchlings this morning. I cleared the beach of driftwood a little until it started raining. I was almost falling asleep while in the shelter. Jason pulled us up close to an overhanging tree, where we found these fuzzy little pods. Coasting along the river. Tummy...
