John B. Stanbury. Dr John B. Stanbury was born and raised in North Carolina and graduated from Duke University. He received his medical degree from The Harvard Medical School. And served an internship at The Massachusetts General Hospital. After five years with The US Navy during World War II, he returned to Boston and has since been affiliated both with The Massachusetts General Hospital, The Harvard Medical School and The Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
