Thursday, August 6, 2015. Sandi on a Pedestal. Thank you Big Guy! While reworking the flower beds on our hill, I requested something to sit on while I weed. This is a steep hill and a tough one to care for. Claude made two nice flower beds with a steps between them going to his 'altar' a few years ago. This summer he defined the sides and lower edges with new stone blocks. They look so nice and I love having a real edge to the flower bed. It was very amusing and I did enjoy the laughter. Saturday, August 29, 2015. Take Me Out to the Ball Game. Claude was in Louisville Wednesday through Friday of this week for the Governor's Legislative Information Conference. I believe that is the right name. I know the first two words are correct. Claude sent me a text message asking if I would like to go to the ballgame Friday evening. My reply, "Of course! He ordered the tickets and after he got home and I got home from taking care of Papa, we headed to Florence to enjoy an evening in the fresh air.
