In our small branch it helped increase numbers. Scouts is so fun! And he has a super fun Den leader. Takes them boating and fishing. Can't beat that. And another one from college days. Must have been having a lunch for a birthday. Lydia, Lori, Me, Connie and Granny are in it. Miss my granny! What happened to us?

Monday, February 20, 2012. We've been road tripping again! We just got home from a 2 week, multi-stop, vacation/work trip! We made our first few stops in Arizona (at grandma and grandpas) and New Mexico (Aunt Carrie, and Aunt Julie) but I only used my phone to take pictures.oops! Then we headed to Colorado Springs where Matt had a conference and we played at the hotel :). They had so much fun, we hardly saw any of the kids the whole time we were there! Getting ready to head for the cabin. And we made it!

Our Little Family - The Whitaker's. James, Sarah, Jay, Mackenzie, Jared, Brianna. Monday, October 27, 2008. Tomorrow is James' birthday. He will be just one year away from thirty. But, he seems to be taking it all in stride (we'll see about next year when thirty actually happens! This post is mostly for him because I don't tell him enough how special he is to me. As it is the time to celebrate his life, I wanted to take a few moments to share why I love him so much and why he is such an amazing person.

Jed really has been on fishing kick. (if you couldn't tell from all the pics I keep posting) and he wanted to go to Devil's Lake Stake Park. Its lovely! A slow moving train went by the fishing spot and we sat and watched it go by. A little blonde boy was very happy. Isn't he a handsome man? Ash and I goofing off.

He eventually painted the guns to look more real. And I got to chaperone Emma's class at a Beethoven concert. It was a short presentation of a few of his famous symphonies, with fun kid commentary and interactive stuff. Emma and Mary, her bestie. And the orchestra. I loved it! Here he is instagrammed.
