THE JEEP HUNTER - 2012. Thursday, October 25, 2012. Today, we went to Philadelphia to visit some of the historic sites from early America. In the span of only 11 days, the Declaration of Independence and the United States Constitution were signed in Independence Hall. The statue of Commodore John Barry, Father of the US Navy, is located in front of Independence Hall. Christ's Church Burial Ground is the site of the burial place of Benjamin Franklin and four other signers of the Declaration of Independence.
