Friday, 16 October 2015. TEXAS TRIPS: VINTAGE SHOPPING AND FINE DINING IN GEORGETOWN. Fall is the best time to travel in Texas: the heat of summer has eased yet the wildflowers have not attracted hoards of tourists. And there are quite a few little gems to discover, deep in the heart of Texas! One of them is Georgetown. One of the most surprising surprises came on a plate though: we headed to Eats on 8. 204 E 8th str). After this late lunch, we strolled around town some more before heading back to Houston.

Whereas the temperatures have already dropped in Europe, in Houston the weather is finally truly wonderful: bright sunshine with the mercury in the early 20s (°C) and a fresh breeze, and the cool at night requires you to actually wear a jacket- even if its just a cardigan. Perfect conditions to dream about fall/ winter outfits: long sleeves, darker colours. Browsing facebook this morning my eyes fell on the fall/winter collection of Lena Hoschek. And I almost started drooling.
