Saturday, March 26, 2011. A tale of love and reality. We "fake it till we make it" as my mom always says. We don't lie exactly, but we sort of stretch the truth to try and soften the blow. What I guess I am trying to say is that we just tell them from our hearts, the best that we can about life. We all learned a little more about how to deal with reality today, but what I think we learned the most is how much we really love each other and that reality is not so bad when handled with love. A bit of a shock.

Monday, March 7, 2011. A bit of a shock. When Jim and I got back to the doctor's office he told Jim that he had a "pedunculated stromal tumor in his stomach and it was quite large". Say what? What does that mean? How long has it been there? What do we do? To see the words MASS and TUMOR was very scary to me. Back to the internet I went, thank goodness for the internet! His Aunt Gwen and grandma made a lego birthday cake for him the Saturday before his birthday. We went to the park and the classic fun center on his actual birthday. Eric is in Santa Rosa so he called that morning to talk to Hatosh and wish him a happy birthday. It is amazing how fast kids grow up. Hatosh is a super sweet kid and is always nice to everyone. We have gone to Lagoon several times, the kids love Lagoon. We went hiking up Adams Canyon to the waterfall up there, and we also hiked up the doughnut hole falls trail in Big Cottonwood canyon. It was really fun, the kids had a blast swimming all day. It was fun to relax and enjoy the day. Moienah got a new ballerina swimsuit and loved wearing it, she danced around saying she was Angelina ballerina.
