Here Comes the Snow. We live in "The South," AND it has snowed 2 days in the past 4 days. . .I am honestly in such shock! Two Months in a Nutshell. Yes, it is inevitably true. I have taken 2 whole months to post a new blog! Is this a joke? Well, it is not meant to be, but it is becoming that way sort of naturally, I suppose. What have the Jipps been up to since January 19? Jan 20-21 we had a 24-hour retreat with IV at Emory. It was great! I particularly enjoyed a few hours of Karoke - what a bonding experience to rock out to "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun" and "I'm a Survivor"! You all might remember them both from our wedding).

Still Reveling from China and Getting Ready for Summer. This will be short, but I wanted to say that my time in China was absolutely incredible. God is working so powerfully in the city where I was, and it was so electric joining Him in this ministry! I felt so fruitful, fulfilled, and empowered by the Holy Spirit. What a blessing! The last 3 weekends, not to mention the search for all things Fall, have made October seem non-existent. With the InterVarsity Fall retreat, Camping over Fall break, and then Josh's mom in town, the weekends have flown by! Also, I find myself almost every day longing for the Fall that has not yet arrived. I am nostalgic for the midwest - for leaves changing colors, for hay rides, pumpkin patches, apple orchards and hot apple cider. . . 6 Hours of ER, 5 Stitches. We ran out after turning the oven off....

We all needed a day out and Nathan and I had some fond memories of "Show Biz" as kids.so we thought Ben needed the experience as well. We got there about 4:45 on a Saturday afternoon, and were very thankful we got there early! The only table available was in the toddler zone, perfect for us! He'd ride this silly Barney train and when it was finished he say, "again, again"!

Keeping Up with the Joneses. Sunday, February 24, 2008. We were in Kansas City visiting Nathan's family for Christmas and were lucky enough to get some snow! These pictures are of Benjamin's first time "playing" in the snow. I personally think the best part is his snowsuit.very cute. He couldn't move very much but that made it all the funnier.
