Monday, November 26, 2012. Yesterday Vivi announced that she wanted to 'play church'. She had us sit on the couch and gave us some toys to play with. Then she stood up at her 'microphone' (camera tripod) and started jabbering nonsense words. After a minute or two, she said "I have to play the organ now" and ran off to the piano. We had the perfect day for a rainbow party - weather in the mid 70s and clear. We rented a great big jumping castle, played games, ate lunch (rainbow food of course) with 15 of her closest friends:) Check out the cake - lots of surprised oohs and ahhs from the kids! Sunday, September 25, 2011. Today was a big day for our E - she turned TWELVE and entered the Young Women's Program at church. It was happy and emotional. I'm so proud of the young woman she is becoming! Here are TWELVE things that I especially enjoy about her (in no particular order) -. 1 - I love that in this modern age her biggest birthday wish was to get a crafting center for her room - she is so creative! 5 - I love that she doesn't feel the need to conform to others' ideas of what is right or cool.

Our last hike of the trip was in Canyonlands National Park. We hiked to Mesa Arch. I believe it was only about 1.5 miles. It was a nice and easy trail.
