The Roth Spot: These Little Piggies
http://cnrothspot.blogspot.com/2010/01/these-little-piggies.html
A spot where you can read some potentially over-exaggerated stories of fun, thoughts and mishaps. Monday, January 04, 2010. You know the saying "Ten tiny fingers, ten tiny toes"? Well, I don't really know if it's a "saying", but I've seen it everywhere when referring to babies. On cards, scrapbooking supplies, clothes. It's supposed to evoke a mushy "awe how cute" emotion, but it has taken on a new emotion for me. Nothing terribly deep on my mind today. Posted by Nancy @ 8:40 PM. British Columbia, Canada.

The Roth Spot: Ketchup Catchup Catsup
http://cnrothspot.blogspot.com/2009/07/ketchup-catchup-catsup.html
A spot where you can read some potentially over-exaggerated stories of fun, thoughts and mishaps. Thursday, July 09, 2009. Nathan loves ketchup. He calls it dip. Actually I guess he loves most liquidy foods that he dips things into, but ketchup seems to be his favourite and he eats it by itself and with a host of other things. You eat ketchup on eggs? Instead of just letting it be. So I'm going to give my brain a break from thinking of serious (and upsetting) matters and instead, think about ketchup.

A spot where you can read some potentially over-exaggerated stories of fun, thoughts and mishaps. Tuesday, October 31, 2006. Does anyone else think that the expression "Happy Halloween" is a little odd? How can a holiday that includes skeletons, witches, bats, devils, and spiders be "HAPPY"? Take this house in my neighbourhood, as an example. There are 12 life size skeletons on their front yard. 12! What on earth do you say to your kids when they ask "Mommy, why are those bones coming out of the ground?

The Roth Spot: Parking Lot Party
http://cnrothspot.blogspot.com/2009/12/parking-lot-party.html
A spot where you can read some potentially over-exaggerated stories of fun, thoughts and mishaps. Sunday, December 27, 2009. My Mac is dead. I didn't know it was possible, but it is. And it's expensive to fix. So I'm stuck with my S-U-P-E-R S-L-O-W iBook until sometime in January. So no photo uploads and no playing Bejeweled Blitz on Facebook :-(. But that's ok. This story has been on my mind for several months and it needs no photos. Looked around for awhile, then went back to the car. Meanwhile, it's m...

May I introduce you to.THE KERNEL! Colin's dad built a similar rowboat from scratch so he could take it flyfishing. It turned out wonderful! It's a nice blue. It's called "That Boat" because his mom was always saying "Del's outside working on THAT BOAT, what else? To be called "Stupid Boat" for the same reason but Colin didn't go for it.

A spot where you can read some potentially over-exaggerated stories of fun, thoughts and mishaps. Thursday, August 31, 2006. Has everyone seen that new "Old Navy" commercial? You know, the one where a girl blows a gargantuan bubble with her gum, then starts to float away? Her friends all jump in the air in all sorts of freeze-frame poses, then grab onto her so she doesn't float away, while the music plays "get your fash-on"? But this post isn't about fash-ON, a lem-ON or a serm-ON. It's about fishing!
