It was an exciting and busy weekend with friends and family in from out of town to help us celebrate and prepare for our baby boy. I had worked hard to get the nursery almost done and perfect so everyone could see it all ready. We discovered that our basement was flooding and that the problem was coming from a pipe from the outside. Jason decided to fix the problem on his own. He dug down 8 feet of straight clay (We don't have dirt instead we have clay). The poor guy had blisters all over his hands when he was done. Posted by Misty and Jason.

Ian is our ball of energy and life. He is 2 (almost three! And has grown by leaps and bounds this year, challenging and delighting us like never before. Here are a few updates:. Ian is *finally* talking! He easily talks in complex sentences now, and rarely do we have to remind him to “use his words” or repeat what he’s said for clarification. He is potty trained almost.
