Saturday, August 27, 2011. I am loving being in the second trimester! Everything is going great. The baby is anywhere from 5 to 7 inches now, about the size of an avocado. The most exciting thing to me about week 16 is that the baby can now hear sounds. Love that! We have our next doctors appointment Monday. Can't wait to hear that heartbeat! Saturday, August 20, 2011. A little glimpse into our life! Monday, March 19, 2012. Chicken spinach lasagna.yummmmy! Ok forgive the weird format! I obviously copied and pasted this recipe from my email! But I thought I would share it on my blog because so many people loved it! We had a luncheon at our home yesterday after Gracie's baptism and served this yummy dish! If you ever need a crowd pleasing dish this is the one! We served it with a yummy salad and rolls! Hope you like it as much as we do! 1 can sliced mushrooms drained.

A little glimpse into our life! Friday, August 24, 2012. Happy 30th Birthday, Sam! I wanted Sam's 30th birthday to be memorable! I knew I would probably enjoy throwing Sam a 30th birthday party more than he would enjoy it, so I opted for something a little different! So, I surprised Sam by planning a little 3 night getaway to St. Louis for just the two of us! And it was a blast! I wanted to go somewhere within driving distance and St. Louis was the perfect place! We then left and checked in at our hotel.

A little glimpse into our life! Thursday, June 21, 2012. So I have been a total blog slacker lately. story of my life. Some things just get pushed to the back burner. anyway. Summer is in full swing at our house- I guess! The other night we went to a fun, FREE concert in the lawn by the Germantown center. It was a very last minute plan, but SOOOO glad we went!
