Why You Need To Get Old And Wrinkly. Monday, March 30, 2015. So, I've been thinking. There's this weird obsession in our culture with permanent youth. I get why people want to look younger, our culture considers youthfulness to be synonymous with relevance. I also get that when we're young everything feels so free, and easy. But what ever happened to revering the old? I want to be a wrinkly old lady one day. I want to earn my old age. I want to them to see that old age is beauty. Share in the comments!

When I was having a particularly rough time dealing with my mom's death, people would say, "Just take it one day at a time, it will get easier." I would then nod my head, and laugh inside because, in my opinion, that seemed silly. How on earth could I not. Take it one day at a time? A Day In The Life. October 27th, 2007. I feel like I got hit by a MAC truck. Eva decided to let the full moon effect her and she was up from around 1am-2:30am. she played very nicely, and Danny was good enough to get up with us so I wouldn't feel like the only one taking care of her. although I would have liked for him to be rested enough to take care of her this morning so I could sleep in, but why split hairs? She hasn't done this for a while, so I guess I should be grateful, but I'm totally exhausted!
