Jarod and Sara and Kids. Thursday, March 25, 2010. Picacho Peak State Park. On Friday of Spring Break we took a family trip to Picacho Peak State Park. First we stopped at the playground and had a picnic. That spider climbing frame was so cute! Then we hiked the children's trail up to a little cave. It was pretty overcast (so thankfully we didn't have to worry about sunburn) but stayed dry for us. One day we'd like to return without the little kids and go all the way to the top. It was a beautiful day!

Emma had her first ever dance recital on December 18 and did a fantastic job (despite the distraction having a fellow dancer right behind her! Thursday, March 19, 2009. My parents had an extra room at their time-share in Flagstaff. So Jayson took off work and we headed North. It was a lot of fun. Usually when I think of spring break, I imagine some place warm and sunny. It was not warm but tons of fun anyways. Jarod and Sara and Kids. Monday, November 23, 2009. Since we don't really have any family Thanksgiving traditions yet, THIS was the year to start! Today with Omi's help, we made this rather adorable tabletop turkey. Anna and Jakob made all the feathers and then I put it together, thanks to FamilyFun. It was a fun little project, and the girls then enjoyed collecting the "harvest" to fill it up. Then we treated ourselves to a wonderful Turkey dinner which you can see I slaved over for hours!
