We went to a portage spot and swam in the rapids. That was really cool, because we got to be pushed around in the water. It was a very sunny day when we went to the portage, so the water was as warm as ever! Later on the return journey back we saw a beaver swimming in the water. It was dark brown, and very graceful. We drive out to birds hill and spend the day running around listening to music and looking at all the hats and jewlery. I’m a Sucker for Quotes. What we’re reading. What we did in school today. Laquo; Cliff Jumping. August 8, 2010 by el burro. When we were camping at Tulabi Falls we diceded we would try CLIFF JUMPING. So we we found the regular spot and tried it out, the lowest spot was about 1 and a half meters tall, the second i have no clue, and the tallest was just under 7 meters, plus there were a couple in between. Of course all the kids jumped off every single one, and mom jumped off the highest! Fun in the Snow.

Tuesday, 8 September 2009. 6:50am got out of bed, had shower. 7:20am shared a coffee with ben and walked through botanic gardens with him to work. it rained lots. 8:00am came home soaking wet becasue i didn't bring an umbrella. got changed, dried hair, did some work. 9:30am dentist appointment. my teeth are all good. 10:15am made egg sandwhich for brunch. 10:50am went to the homebirth rally. there where heaps.

We visited ben's mum, who lives up in the adelaide hills, on friday night. neither of us wanted to drive home after she was extra lovely and fed us tasty champagne as well as taking us to chingari's, our favourite indian restaurant, so we made up a bed and stayed the night in her little valley. In a dance at the hafla! I went to a hafla* on sunday and after only six lessons, my belly dancing class performed for four whole minutes. I was even brave enough to dance in the front row! A glimpse at our life adventures. April 5, 2010 in family. A BIG happy birthday to B! Our day started with a delicious waffles breakfast – including a birthday waffle ‘cake’ a la birthday song! Whole grain waffles, chocolate chip brownie waffles, whipped cream, pudding, strawberries, and a fresh fruit plate all made the menu along with some fair trade espresso coffee (a gift brought back from nelson, bc from my doctor). yum! Then we packed up the kids and the four of us spent the afternoon up at the lake.
