KA is the First UD Fraternity. Kappa Alpha Order (KA) is established at Washington College in 1865. KAs Beta Epsilon Chapter is established at the University of Delaware in 1904. KA acquires 19 Amstel Avenue (circ. 1920) for use as its Chapter House in 1946. The Chapter House, known to the Brotherhood as the KAstle, is expanded in 1965. KA removes the new addition and renovates the KAstle in 2002-2003. KA celebrates 100 years at the University of Delaware (2004).
