Friday, 2 March 2012. A VERY WET DAY AND THE MAGICFREEZEER. A dismal wet day greeted me when I arose in the early light of the morning. Tuesday, 30 December 2014. 2014 REVIEWING THE YEAR. As the new years quickly approaches we look back on 2014 and see success. Loads of it. It has been a rewarding and uplifting year. Filled with laughter and good cheer. Shared with 49 wwoofers. Endearing individuals, eager to share and learn and very willing to help. Deep friendships were forged. The year unfolded with land being cleared. Fences built and gates hung. Pig pens enlarged. Ross from the UK seen here building a wicking bed. A mural was painted.

Wednesday, 14 January 2015. Animals are amazing creatures. Several months ago our lamb lost her mother to a toxic weed which was hidden by grass in the field. The young lamb moaned and cried for her mummy so loud and painfully that our hearts broke. Her sighs were pitiful. She cried all day and all night. We regularly visited the paddock and stroked and cuddled her so that she would come to know that she was not alone in the world. Nowadays they are the best of the friends. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Friday, 13 February 2015. NEW LIFE at THE KEEP. Currently our daily chores are filled with laughter as we watch the youngesters at play with their family. I am talking about the pekin ducklings, the seven week old piglets and the newly born, four day old piglets. The ducklings found a gap where one fence meets another in the corner of the pen. Bravely they pushed their little fragile bodies out into the food forest. What a discovery! The mother takes this opportunity to source some food and get some rest.
