Monday, July 30, 2012. This week's theme is Community Helpers :). The children examined their fingerprints just like a real policeman! A Weekend with the Grandparents. We spent last weekend with Dave's parents. The boys really loved swimming, going on the boat, and eating yummy seafood! J chose shrimp at almost every restaurant except for the time he chose a jumbo cupcake at a deli! Dipping the flower petals out of the pool :). First time in goggles. Lee, Thomas, and Jackson. Uncle Dave and Lee. One of o...

All Things Hilton: January 2012
http://allthingshilton.blogspot.com/2012_01_01_archive.html
Monday, January 30, 2012. It is pretty common for Dave to hear me say, "Do you know what he did today? About L and "Do you know what he said today? L is full of tricks, some to get our attention and others that get our attention because he looks so stinkin' cute doing them! One thing that always makes us laugh is when he will put something in his mouth like his sock or toy rings and let it hang out of his mouth while he is playing. I guess he is biting them- I really am not sure, yet! When he saw them fo...

All Things Hilton: Such a BIG Deal
http://allthingshilton.blogspot.com/2013/02/such-big-deal.html
Sunday, February 3, 2013. Such a BIG Deal. In the middle of our busy month, something really cool and grown up happened to our firstborn, Mommy's FIRST baby.JACKSON LOST A TOOTH! We found out his tooth was loose just a little before his 5th birthday. I noticed it was sticking out ever so slightly and wiggled it only to find out it was loose! Mommy was a little sad at that moment and sorta in shock! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). It's a Chaneyworld (and it's a crazy world too)! Such a BIG Deal.

Recipe: Fig and Prosciutto Pasta – The Grasso Life
https://grassos.wordpress.com/2015/06/27/recipe-fig-and-prosciutto-pasta
June 27, 2015. Recipe: Fig and Prosciutto Pasta. We’ve made this a few times, and every time, I think it’s already on the blog. It wasn’t. And finally I’m remembering to post it! We’ve made it with pancetta and prosciutto but I think we prefer prosciutto. It’s based off of this recipe. With a few modifications. Fig and Prosciutto Pasta. 4 oz prosciutto, thinly cut. 2 shallots, minced. 1 garlic clove, minced. 3/4 cup heavy cream. 12 fresh figs, quartered. 1/3 cup fresh basil leaves, torn.

4th of July – The Grasso Life
https://grassos.wordpress.com/2015/07/05/4th-of-july-2
July 5, 2015. We spent most of the day at a family friend’s lake house and the girls were in heaven. They wanted little to do with us as our friends have two older daughters. I only saw Emerson when she wanted to ask me if she could ride the jet ski with one of the girls. (Side note: We didn’t let her on it without an adult.). The girls were asleep within minutes. Best boat picture we got of Emerson:. Hiking and Ice Cream →. Leave a Reply Cancel reply. Enter your comment here. Address never made public).

All Things Hilton: March 2012
http://allthingshilton.blogspot.com/2012_03_01_archive.html
Thursday, March 29, 2012. You are 10 mos (sniff, sniff), Big Boy! We see more and more of your personality everyday! You, Little Guy, are full of joy and bring us so many smiles and laughs! Here are a few things about you at 10 mos.:. You have mastered being a wiggle worm when we try to change or dress you. Needless to say, we always have to give you a toy to distract you, but we still better be really quick! You are crawling EVERYWHERE! Last week, you found the electrical outlet! It is a game for you...

All Things Hilton: October 2012
http://allthingshilton.blogspot.com/2012_10_01_archive.html
Monday, October 15, 2012. Both boys LOVE playing outside! The weather has been so nice that we go for a walk and play outside almost everyday. Luke thinks he can keep up with Jackson! It is so funny how he doesn't even seem to realize he is SMALLER, not to mention lacks the same balance and coordination, as Jackson and his buddies. He definitely has no fear! L often wants what J has. Oh, good gracious.it is no wonder I have to question Big Brother when L is crying! Our Annual Pumpkin Picking. It's a Chan...

All Things Hilton: Birthdays
http://allthingshilton.blogspot.com/2013/01/birthdays.html
Monday, January 14, 2013. I am soo behind on posting, but what better way to pick it up than with birthday celebrations! We went to our friend, Parker's, fifth birthday party in November at a ranch. Really cool! After the ride, you could feed some additional animals behind the fences. The boys did not want to leave but were exhausted and filthy. Perfect. Sure signs of a great time :). Hiking and Ice Cream – The Grasso Life
https://grassos.wordpress.com/2015/07/23/hiking-and-ice-cream
July 23, 2015. Hiking and Ice Cream. After the hike, on our drive back, we passed a sign for Babyland General Hospital. I told the girls that that’s where Cabbage Patch Kids come from. (They have my old one.) Lila immediately asked if those were the kind we eat. I was confused for a second until I realized she was thinking of Sour Patch Kids.😉. We sat outside the “ice cream silo”, watched their cows graze, and played around the ENORMOUS cow that they have as yard decor. It was a great summer day!
