First day of second grade, third grade, and preschool (Ellie is waiting to start kindergarten in Memphis because of the age cut-off). The Lexington School has been an amazing school for our girls and will truly be one of the hardest things to leave when we move back to Memphis. Megan and Emma are doing fabulous there and often ask if we can stay just one more year? First day of first and second grade and preschool. 4 years ago today.

Miller's Fresh New Do. Things started innocently enough. My angel-baby looked raggedy and needed his first official hair cut. Look at that little mop of white hair! He started off brave.enjoying all that the overpriced kids salon had to offer. Cool firetruck that made a few noises.a movie on his own personal TV, which I'm not sure he ever even glanced at. But I was thinking we were on the right track. Then he realized some random stranger was messing with his head. It wasn't as enjoyable as he thought.

Tuesday, December 21, 2010. This past weekend my dad and I took the girls ice skating in Little Rock. I had no idea what to expect, but they did great! We are hoping to go this week in Memphis! Mom came to visit and we took the kids to the Denver Firefighters Museum one morning when we were getting stir crazy. I have to say it was really cool! It was an old fire station that's been converted into a museum. Lots of interesting history, but the best part was the hands-on kids section. Friday, May 4, 2012. From cars to clothes. Ellie LOVES to play babydolls and could probably do that all day long, but she also really enjoys playing cars too. Friday, August 24, 2012. Ellie and her sweet friend James riding in the Barbie jeep- I think her driving scares him! Emma teaching her class about insects. Ellie wants to be in the middle of everything her sisters do! First grade field trip to the Louisville Zoo! Releasing Reed's butterflies on Sycamore Hill. Keeneland- next time I think we will go back without the kids! It was crazy crowded! We took a trip to Cincinnati and found these cool hamster balls on the riverwalk. Ellie was not a fan!
