Thursday, June 18, 2009. Appalachian Trail Hike 2009 - Max Patch to Hot Springs. I finally uploaded all of the pictures from this year's appalachian trail hike. It was quite an adventure and I am definitly hooked on hiking now! We started the trip at a place called Max Patch. It is basically a huge grassy area on top of a mountain with almost no trees, it provided great views of the surrounding mountians. Friday, January 16, 2009. As usual, Micki and I awoke this morning to two hungry dogs eagerly awaiting their trip outside before breakfast. I threw on a sweatshirt and as I stepped outside with the dogs still half asleep, I was smacked in the face with -19 degree temps. As I stood there freezing and pleading with the dogs to hurry up, I wondered what happened to global warming? Catching up with the Gibsons. Monday, November 22, 2010. Last weekend we took the girls to JC Penney for pictures celebrating their birthdays, Anna turned 3 at the end of September and Elsie turned 1 at the beginning of November. With some careful planning we managed to get there on time and all in one piece - why does the stress level always seem to multiply by 20 when you have to be somewhere on time? Next year should be free of tears.or maybe well have to wait til Elsie is 3! The dresses are adorable!

She is loving it and shows off her moves when asked despite only attending one class so far. (We missed a few due to Thanksgiving) The leotard and ballet gear were a gift for her birthday last September, thanks Grammy! Sunday, December 14, 2008. Late on the night of Friday, December 12th, our twins came into this world! Jackson Christopher Nickoloff was born at 11:22 PM weighing 7 lbs. 5 oz. and 20 inches long. His sister, Ellison Anne Nickoloff, followed at 11:24 PM weighing 5 lbs. 3 inches and measuring 19.5 inches long. Jackson and Ellie are perfect in every way, they are beautiful! We promise to be in touch,. Chris, Sarah, Jackson, and Ellie Nickoloff :). Overall, everyone is doing great, babies, mom, and dad!

Friday, December 12, 2008. We are here and settled in. Sarah is doing great and it hopefully won't be long now. The Pitocin was started at 9:20. The contractions were getting intense for a moment and were coming right on top of each other so Sarah got an epidural around 1:00 and is feeling much better now.
