As you can imagine, this whole situation hasn't been easy for any of us and we all have our moments still. I don't think life will ever be completely normal again. Although we will forever be known as the family whose house burnt down, we are really looking forward to feeling settled and "at home" again. Update - December 15th.

Monday, December 15, 2008. Update - December 15th. The kids are handling the situation pretty well although they are all dealing with it differently. I think it is affecting Ryan the hardest because even though we are in a nice, new home, it still isn't "home" to him. Our biggest goal since the start of this rocky ride has been to protect the kids and create as "normal" (not sure what that means but we are trying our best) of an environment as possible. Thus, our kids will be heading back to school tomorrow. The school's have been wonderful and we are working with them to make the return as smooth as possible.
