The story of raising a family, working full time and trying to enjoy it all! Friday, September 18, 2009. 1st day of school. Wow, another year! Janie is in 4th grade and my babies are begindegarteners. Don't you love it! I love walking into school and seeing the boys sitting at their desks. Janie loves her teacher. So far, so good! The story of raising a family, working full time and trying to enjoy it all! Monday, November 23, 2009. So I know I have not been a good blogger but sometimes life gets in the way! Christmas shopping and working seem to be more of a priority right now. I am happy to report that life is good at the Mitchell household. I won't say outloud that everyone has been pretty healthy! Sorry, had to brag a minute. More soon, I hope! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile. Faith and the Miles Family.

The story of raising a family, working full time and trying to enjoy it all! Sunday, March 22, 2009. The Good, the Bad and the Sick. It seems that the only time I blog lately is when I have something bad to talk about, like the kids being sick. I will get to that in a minute but let's start with the good stuff! The other good news is that Mike and I leave on Thursday for Phoenix for 3 short days. We will be celebrating our 10 year anniversary soon so this is our celebration! Monday, March 02, 2009.

An aging Baby Boomer's random musings. Friday, November 6, 2009. I only know what I've read online about the Panhandle, so am discovering it for the first time this winter. I'll share what I find, as I find it, with you. To start, the sand and ocean are unlike any other place I've seen. The ocean glistens emerald green/teal blue/aqua and the sand is pure sugar. History of our Sand. The unique sand of the beaches in the Destin area is among the whitest and most homogenous of the world. Links to this post.

An aging Baby Boomer's random musings. Monday, October 26, 2009. Burning the Midnight Oil. I love being retired. I can do whatever I want whenever I want for as long as I want. (Is that even gramatically correct? But I've kind of settled into a semi-schedule for waking and sleeping. I'm usually asleep by 10 or 10:30PM and awake by 7 or 7:30AM. People activity, even if I'm not involved in it, I don't. Links to this post. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Atlanta and Chicago, Georgia and Illinois, United States.

An aging Baby Boomer's random musings. Tuesday, October 13, 2009. It can be a challenge to find somewhere peaceful and pretty to walk in suburbia. I'm not a fan of stepping out the door just to spend the next hour or so passing house after driveway after yard of a typical suburban neighborhood. With cars whizzing by. It's a great path for biking or walking, stopping to rest, having a picnic lunch, or reading and people-watching! Links to this post. Searching for a Winter Place. With a budget for this:.
