He was born in July 1986, in Daejeon City, South Korea just 2 hours away from Seoul. As the youngest son in the Shin family (Hangul: 신, Hanja: 申), he is often 'babied' by his parents - who happen to be the most humble, loving and kind folks I've ever met. He attended Sogang University (서강대학교) in Seoul and spent almost 6 years living alone in Seoul. In 2012, he graduated with a law degree from Sogang but has chosen not to practice law in Korea. Tuesday, September 1, 2015. Early autumn in Korea. Finally back in Korea again! Just for a short one month this time. Ever since I graduated from NUS, I no longer have the luxury of using the 3-4 months of university vacation to visit him. In our 3 years of long distance relationship, I've been to Korea about 5 or 6 times already. It's always the same food, same warm family, same streets, same house but much more love for my boyfriend! Friday, September 26, 2014. Getting an EMS from Korea! Receiving EMS from Korea has been a huge part of our long distance relationship. Besides seeing his face on skype every night. Sunday, June 10, 2012. Anca and I decided to venture out into Insadong and buy some lovely gifts for friends and family. This is the place to go to buy more folky/traditional gifts in Korea. We got a little lost on the way there, but found this beautiful park. Finally, we concluded our magical day of Korean wonder with a stroll down the Chungecheon River.
