Thursday, January 31, 2013. San Diego day 3, 4 and 5. After he finished work, we ate dinner at an Indian Restaurant near USC. It was great! We finished dinner, and dropped Nick off at his hotel and started our drive back down to San Diego. We were pretty exhausted when we got back to the hotel room, but it was all worth it! Each day we go, they play with various toys, but a few favorites for Henry are the coloring table, the cars, and the kitchen. Monday, April 15, 2013. Evening walk in the rain. Monday, April 8, 2013. So my little seeds have sprouted into beautiful tiny plants. The beans however are huge! I have a question on thinning. My lettuce sprouts are all bunched together. I've never liked the idea of thinning.but it appears I may have to with them. Any suggestions? Oh and take a look at that celery start! Tuesday, October 15, 2013. Today while we were at Safeway, we walked by some pumpkins and an idea popped into my piston.(okay I may be watching too much Thomas! Devin was so surprised when I asked Allie to pick a color and she pointed to the red. He said, it's like she understands us. ;). Even Devin was amazed! Finally it was Devin's turn. I removed the two babies from the table so he could paint in peace. He painted a nice face on his even giving it some hair. Here are some pictures of the activity.

Tuesday, June 18, 2013. Devins Last Day of School! Today was Devin's last day of school. To celebrate this, I decorated the front door and got him a basket full of summer time activities. He loved it. We also started his first piano lesson. I was amazed at how well he did. He learned all 7 notes and was able to find the octaves of each notes. He did great! Thursday, June 13, 2013. Sunday, July 13, 2014. Childrens museum, science project, and kids club. Typically we only do one outing during the day, but last Thursday was an exception. We went to the children's museum in the morning then after naps headed to kids club because Henry was starting his gymnastics class. In between that Devin and I did a little science experiment while the babies napped. It was a fun and exhausting day! The kids had so much fun at the children's museum we decided to get a membership!

Sunday, March 31, 2013. Henry and I went down to Esther Short Park to participate in the Easter egg hunt the market was sponsoring. We met our friends, the Deatherage's down there. We canned 60 lbs of tomatoes (heirloom and organic beefsteak varieties). (20 lbs went to tomato soup and 40 lbs to stewed tomatoes). We followed a recipe from Canningusa.com. Fresh Tomatoes: 21 lbs.
