Sunday, July 24, 2011. I popped into John Lewis on Thursday, to look at some fabric for my Mum. The fabric department is right next the yarn department, and since there was a sale bin in plain view I just had to have a look! I think it must have been the tail end of the sale, because there was (thankfully! Slim pickings. Knit It, Grow It, Cook It: March 2013
http://knititgrowitcookit.blogspot.com/2013_03_01_archive.html
Knit It, Grow It, Cook It. Thursday, March 28, 2013. To start with it's best to use "00" pasta flour as it's a lot finer than regular flour and it's going to give the best results. Most supermarkets stock it now. For each portion you will need 100grams of flour and 1 egg,- that's all. For us three I only use a double portion rather than a triple as it makes plenty for our appetites. Once you have mixed your dough wrap it in clingfilm and leave it to one side for about 15 mins to rest. Once you've done th...

Monthly Archives: April 2015. April 17, 2015. Finished writing the pattern for Julius’ Blanket, so it is been tested in the Auroraknit’s Blankets group on Ravelry. Will let everyone know when it is available to buy. This weekend sees me finishing knitting and starting the write up on my next blanket and swatching for a new blanket. This one to be swatched is inspired by owls and is made in memory of my friend’s son who had a undetected heart condition. CRY: Cardiac risk in the young. April 11, 2015.
