The McCausland Life: Home Sweet Home
http://themccauslandlife.blogspot.com/2012/05/home-sweet-home.html
Friday, May 18, 2012. This is the home we bought! I took these pictures a few months ago on my phone, during the home inspection. We are so happy to have a place to call our own! Back of house. Casey is using the skyscraper old tv antenna as a ladder to the roof. Big backyard. Soon to be fenced. Note: The trailer house, and boards on the window of the other blue house, are not an accurate representation of the neighborhood we live in. ;). This is the breezeway! I love our breezeway! Now, to the basement!

The McCausland Life: Easter 2012
http://themccauslandlife.blogspot.com/2012/04/easter-2012.html
Tuesday, April 10, 2012. I thought I would share some verses/words about Easter. I couldn't choose just one. Now if we died with Christ, we believe that we will also live with him. For we know that since Christ was raised from the dead, he cannot die again; death no longer has mastery over him. The death he died, he died to sin once for all; but the life he lives, he lives to God. In the same way, count yourselves dead to sin but alive to God in Christ Jesus.". Now let the heavens be joyful,. Christmas d...

The McCausland Life: Made in U.S.A.
http://themccauslandlife.blogspot.com/2012/03/made-in-usa.html
Wednesday, March 21, 2012. Made in U.S.A. I've been trying to be more conscious about the things I buy lately, I want to buy things made in America. I am not 100% hardcore devoted to this, but when I have a choice I really like to try to choose those items. I'm going to make a list of great things I've found, and of products I've always loved, but haven't ever turned the box over to check if it's Made in USA. I hope to keep finding tons more! Boudreax's Butt Paste and all Boudreax products. Maybe this ca...

The McCausland Life: A Cooking Tip On Rice
http://themccauslandlife.blogspot.com/2012/04/cooking-tip-on-rice.html
Wednesday, April 18, 2012. A Cooking Tip On Rice. Don't make for dinner if we have company coming over. Want your rice to look like this! So fluffy and nice! Yesterday, I found out there is a such thing as the "pasta method" for cooking your rice. It's very easy! I didn't take a picture, but my rice turned out like the picture above. (If not better, ha) I am just a LITTLE excited about this! This is what I did:. Once the water is boiling, just pour 1/2 cup of white rice into the pot. Ingrid at One Year.

The McCausland Life: April 2013
http://themccauslandlife.blogspot.com/2013_04_01_archive.html
Friday, April 19, 2013. The day I had Graham, I left the house to get groceries around 9:00 in the morning. I remember I didn't feel like getting dressed and couldn't find much that fit me anymore. I wore Casey's long john shirt and squeezed one more time into my maternity skinny jeans. I was 39 weeks 5 days pregnant. I snapped this photo for Instagram that day :). Good thing Malory came back! My labor had hardly started yet. Josey and I played in her room a bit and I started packing her a little bag...

The McCausland Life: January 2012
http://themccauslandlife.blogspot.com/2012_01_01_archive.html
Friday, January 27, 2012. Playing in the Snow. Our one and only snow, that actually stuck, was a few weeks ago. It has been a really mild winter here compared to last year! We wanted to take Josey out to play in the snow. It took longer to put all her snow gear on than she was actually outside :) But, we had fun! Josey was so excited to see everything white! And, as you can see she dove right in! Josey's little trail is so cute! She actually walked most of the way to that spot. Posted by Tara McCausland.

The McCausland Life: 5, 6, Pick Up Sticks
http://themccauslandlife.blogspot.com/2012/03/5-6-pick-up-sticks.html
Tuesday, March 13, 2012. 5, 6, Pick Up Sticks. Yesterday it was so nice and warm! So warm, that there were a few lawnmowers and weed wackers heard around the neighborhood. As my husband and I were sitting outside, we were forced to look at how our yard came through the winter. The lot our house is on has about 20 to many pine trees, and there were branches scattered all through the yard. So, we got Josey's pink John Deer wagon out and picked up sticks. Josey loves to be outside! Josey loves to be outside!

The McCausland Life: My Nursing Story (so far)
http://themccauslandlife.blogspot.com/2013/04/my-nursing-story-so-far.html
Monday, April 1, 2013. My Nursing Story (so far). My first experience with nursing was a few hours after Josey was born. a nurse was trying to shove my breast into my babies mouth. Josey wouldn't latch. I had a very long labor with Josey and was so completely exhausted I ended up falling asleep while the nurse was doing this to me. What happened wasn't right on many levels. NOT a pleasant experience at all. Josey was always happy and healthy throughout this journey. And she liked eating so much she h...
