Saturday, June 25, 2016. As temps hit 85° and 90°F (31-32°C), we grabbed our suits and trusty yellow bucket to hit up a splash pad near our apartment. The first day, Scarlet was extremely trepedatious, but the next morning she was begging to go back, and this time it was a huge hit! Photo quality isn't top notch. Tuesday, February 23, 2016. Visits, Visitors, and Friends! First stop - visiting Uncle Heng in Chicago. and loving his MSI membership! She came bearing gifts, love, and great times (and ice cream encouragement! Here we are watching West African dancers at Orpheum Theater. It didn't take long until we found a nearby hallway to take up the dancing ourselves. The next day, we checked out the Madison Children's Museum! Complete with a tail! And met up with Hazel - who was fearless! And feeling very lucky!

Three of a Kind. Monday, August 31, 2015. One last quick post of summer shots before I put up the first-day-of-school post! We headed down to Irish Fest and nearly melted - the temps were in the high 90s. The highlight of the visit was taking the Skyglyder for a breezy tour of the grounds. The low point? And the girls looking pleased with learning about the civic process - Magdalenne wore an "I Voted" sticker since she pushed the ballot into the machine for me. We went out for ice cream to celebrate after I voted, and I had to get one more shot that included Camille to remember this "historic" day. We all know what happened next.

Three of a Kind. Sunday, May 29, 2016. After mass, we took some pictures outside in the plaza where we had quite a few pictures taken on our wedding day. Afterwards, we went to the market and let the girls explore while Abue and Tato stocked up on supplies for their guests. Back at home, Santiago made another appearance and was less than pleased that Camille had warmed up enough to Abue to let Abue hold her. Santi wanted Abue all to himself. Later, we all feasted on ceviche, one of my favorite dishes!

Yes, the year has flown as they all tend to do once children enter the picture. We are slowly getting to know our littlest one a bit more each day.
