Thursday, January 24, 2013. Honey Mustard Chicken Freezer Style. In my post about meal planning I had mentioned Freezer meals. Last night we had the Honey Mustard Chicken that I had prepared in advance and froze in ziploc bags. We are a family of 3 and our little eats poultry/meat like a bird so 2 chicken breasts is enough for a dinner. I was able to get 3 bags with 2 breasts in each out of one batch of sauce. Here are the 2 dishes before heading in the oven to become delicious! Salt and pepper to taste.

Thursday, April 17, 2014. Yesterday I received a call at 04:55 informing me that my friend, Kelsey, was in labour. I was being summoned (welcomed, really) to support her and her husband as they brought their child into the world. Birth is miraculous. It is amazing - like ama.z.i.n.g! And I feel so blessed to be invited into this intimate and inspiring time in people's lives. I cannot think of anything so beautiful, so raw, so powerful, and so sacred. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). I took the first video of him taking a couple steps on January 18th and now he is non stop walking! He is most confident at home and nearly runs sometimes. He chases Jessie and Jessie chases him. He can stand up without holding on to anything and can turn around while walking too. It is amazing how fast things can change. That is Myles at 11 months! We love you Myles!

Tuesday, February 11, 2014. Erik was in Vancouver for school a couple weeks ago. I am not the biggest fan of being home alone so I invited Maelle and Elinor for a sleepover. It was only Elinor's second time sleeping over and she did wonderfully. Like I've said before, my house is magical when it comes to making babies sleep. Wednesday, March 26, 2014. It is with a full and happy heart that I announce the birth of Sawyer and Kaden's little brother, Tucker Ray. He was born on March 25th at 23:26 weighing 8lb 8oz. Mom and babe are both doing well and. Kev even survived the delivery without my moral support. I don't even know where to begin. Even though I wasn't there to welcome you earthside, I still love you so deeply. You are one lucky little guy to join the family you have. Welcome to the world, young man. Also On the Needles.

Sunday, July 28, 2013. We spent 16 hours visiting my brother, sister-in-law, and the newest member of their (and our) family. It was a last minute decision, but the 3.5 hour drive was well worth it. I am a crier. I always have been and I suspect I always will be. I am most easily reduced to tears when I am feeling particularly happy, love-full, and/or proud. Monday, February 10, 2014. Christmas is over. I finally took down my decorations, as I mentioned earlier, but I thought I'd post one picture of what our house looked like. I know my SIL would be interested. I was going to post an "after" photo, but it's too embarrassing.
