How this new mom spends her days. Sunday, May 18, 2008. First Time With Hardanger. They're kind of hard to see, but these are my first attempts at doing hardanger. The middle one has a speciality stich. I had never done- the ones that look like butterflies. I think I'm hooked. I doubt I'll be doing anymore plain cross-stitching anytime soon. Thursday, August 21, 2008. Learning to use a lightbox. Wednesday, August 13, 2008. I have had to learn about drawing stitch diagrams, and dealing with a slightly unstable design software. I have learned that one must do about 10 backups of every little change in a design, and then back it up again by creating a JPEG or PDF. Because, if something can go wrong, it will.
