The Laid-Off Journalist: Today, the Bridesmaid
http://thelaidoffjournalist.blogspot.com/2009/10/today-bridesmaid.html
Welcome to the wanderings of a 32-year-old former journalist searching for a new job and of course, the American dream. There was an error in this gadget. Wednesday, October 28, 2009. Today, the Bridesmaid. On very rare occasions does the woman in my life plop down a glass of 80 percent booze and tell me to get to work. She could see my nervousness, especially after I turned down the dessert with pumpkin in it and a night out filled with baby bottles full of beer and chocolate cake. Today, the Bridesmaid.

Welcome to the wanderings of a 32-year-old former journalist searching for a new job and of course, the American dream. There was an error in this gadget. Sunday, July 11, 2010. I just came back from two trips to Vermont and for the first time in my 33 years, I had to ride a ferry to make a journey. I keep up with my reading about the now-destroyed Lake Champlain Bridge. This week, I'm going back and yup, there's another ferry ride in the future. I'm sure more pics and even a video will follow.
The Laid-Off Journalist: My Anniversary

Welcome to the wanderings of a 32-year-old former journalist searching for a new job and of course, the American dream. There was an error in this gadget. Monday, November 16, 2009. I hate to start a blog with "according," but dammit, I'm going to do it! According to a study I read today, smaller cities are losing their luster during the economic downturn. I could care less about the numbers! And speaking of economic downturn, the one-year anniversary of becoming a laid-off is right around the corner.

Welcome to the wanderings of a 32-year-old former journalist searching for a new job and of course, the American dream. There was an error in this gadget. Wednesday, March 24, 2010. I've been reading lots of books the past few months (The New Rules of Marketing and PR) and in that time, I read about the "Plan B Job." You know, the one where you go to school to be a rocket scientist, eventually work at NASA, get laid off and end up taking a job at Home Depot in the One-Up-Your Neighbor Department.

Lost On Long Island. New neighborhood. New baby. New adventures. Posted by: Jill @ lostonli. For details on how to enter. Here are a few I came up with:. No-see-yums – Tiny crumbs, pebbles, specks of dirt that babies and toddlers zero in on like heat seeking missles that are virtually invisible to adults. I need to vacuum before G’s playdate arrives – don’t want them picking up any noseeyums. No wonder G’s never hungry with all the baby booty he snacks on all day! Moga – The contortions you find yo...

All Time Favourite - Make-Up Remover for Eyes. Nivea have claimed that the remover dissolves even extreme waterproof mascara without rubbing and works due to the Cornflower Extract. It also protects sensitive eyelashes with its caring bi-phase formula and does not leave any unpleasant greasy residue. I was pretty much sold by the description! But I was wrong. This make-up remover can honestly be called a holy grail. Do you have any highly recommended products you like to go to? Most of my time has been d...
