A primary member would be an individual over 18 that owns or resides on property which is considered Lakefront. Lakefront properties share one boundary that is directly adjacent to the water or a public reserve that is directly adjacent to the water. The RM of Victoria Beach under the direction of the Province of Manitoba has been tasked with the responsibility of updating their development plan. As a result of this request from the Province the community has been working with the Province to create a new development plan. As of September 2011 the Province had produced a second draft for review by the community. Some documents including the draft development plan are linked below. There are a multitude of examples. Of ongoing shoreline erosion around the south basin of Lake Winnipeg. The weather bomb of October 2010 did a tremendous amount of damage to the beach areas.
