Thursday, March 3, 2011. I love Valentine's Day! For some reason this year I really got into it. I spent all month making cute Valentine decorations for our house. I got a crazy hair and decided to make Valentine shirts for my kids. I stayed up late the night before trying to finish them for the special day. Sunday, June 13, 2010. This is Weston at his patriotic graduation program. He loved all of the patriotic songs and got so into them when they were performing. Since Weston has been singing his songs around the house all day, Holden picked up on some and has been singing 'God Bless America' for weeks! This is Weston with his teacher Miss Kristy! Weston felt so comfortable sitting up front with his class this year, we even caught him picking his nose a few times! One of Weston's little preschool friends.

Sunday, December 19, 2010. We had a nice Thanksgiving this year. We ate dinner at the Rice's. The whole David Wright family was there together this year. The kids had fun playing together. They made Indian headbands and put on a play for us about the first Thanksgiving. It was really cute. You can tell Holden is really into it! That Sunday we went to The Laker's and Weston and Holden made a gingerbread house with Nana. Thanks Nana, we had lots of fun! Posted by The Lakers. Todd was having a lot of fun!

Thursday, February 24, 2011. Our fun ski trips! This is Todd's dream come true, to have his family ski with him! Todd and Weston went together on a Saturday morning a couple weeks ago. Weston did really well, and picked up right where he left off last year. Holden wanted to go sooo. So the next Saturday we all went up together. Weston and I skied. Wednesday, April 23, 2014. Contour Still Life - Stained Glass. Using contour lines only, students were instructed to draw a still life image. Then, using sharpie, they cut up their drawing into geometric pieces and then color each piece one block of color as in stained glass work. They could make their still life as "hidden" as they wanted. Lastly, they were instructed to keep in mind where the light was coming from so they could represent that in their drawings. M Kantz, G.
