Monday, July 13, 2015. This year we started Father's Day off with a bang! We attended the greatest show on Earth: A Ringling Bros. and Barnum and Bailey Circus! We had so much fun! Before the show started Audrey went down to the floor for some pre-show festivities. It was so cute. The kids were amazed. We don't normally take her to events like this since they generally start after her bedtime but she was a trooper! I think the elephants were her favorite. The kids really enjoyed the games. Tuesday, June 2, 2015. The End of Kinder for Audrey. Wow Kindergarten flew by. How did that happen? With 3 kids to shuttle around the years are just whirlwinds. Audrey really enjoyed kinder. She loves her friends, teacher and school. She learned more than I could have taught her and she got to take a crazy amount of field trips. Pumpkin patches, working farms, Build-A-Bear, Disney on Ice, bowling, Chuck E Cheese, etc. They had a blast. They had a program in the beautiful nearly 100 year old auditorium.

Monday, July 13, 2015. Arden, 18 months old. This handful is 18 months old! It's getting harder to take these pictures. First she wanted to love on Ellie. And I did manage to get one decent picture. But she also kicked Ellie. And rearranged the bow. We went through 3 red bow changes. Found a doll of Merida's mother and squished her head between her toes. Gave me this face. Which was my face at that age). And even this gem. 18 months of this girl has been quite a ride, one we're all glad to be a part of.

Tuesday, July 29, 2014. This ridiculously cute baby is 7 months old already. I recently noticed that little A not only has inherited my total lack of patience, dark eyes, ears, mouth, fingers, tiresome sleeping issues, and fondness for a certain brunette boy. But my sleeping positions as well. The leg we leave out so we can buckle her in her swing if need be. The bigs are still taking soccer lessons this summer. They're both doing well and I'm sure it helps that they adore their patient coach, Rykley.

Monday, June 8, 2015. When I met Barker he told me he had a feeling he'd have daughters, four of them. I always felt like I'd have boys. When we got pregnant everyone thought he, being so sporty and all, would want a boy. But he was just as thrilled as I was to learn our first child would be a lovely little lady. Then I got pregnant a second time and knew right away it was a boy. H. E was not convinced and guessed it was another girl. He looked completely shocked when my doctor announced it was a boy.

Wednesday, December 17, 2014. Hudson's 3rd Birthday Party. This year Hudson had a mildly John Deere themed birthday party. We invited a few of his 3 year old friends, played some games, and had pizza and double stuffed cookie cake. Love Ellen in the background. ha! We opened gifts after we returned home and he was so excited. It was by far the easiest, least stressful birthday party I've ever hosted. I think it was the first one where I haven't felt like I was working and frantic. A Rite of Passage.

Monday, February 23, 2015. Laissez les bon temps rouler 2015. It's my second favorite season in Louisiana. Mardi Gras! This year the weather for Mardi Gras was simply perfect for being outside with friends. Hudson was very serious at the Centaur parade. He kept permanently perched atop his Daddy's shoulders. We had Soccer Shots cups made to be thrown from a few floats. I thought they turned out cute. The next day, at the Highland, hot dogs that were thrown were a hit. Oh how I love my beautiful boys.
