The Last Challenge: Moving On

This is my journal for what I'm so hoping is the last challenge of a 35 year weight loss journey. Friday, November 20, 2009. I truely had intentions of journaling everyday. But as we all know by now, this is my pattern. Anyway, I'm in to my second week of the Clinic progam and things are going well. I did lose 6.6 pounds in my first week. My body is also in a state of ketosis, which kills your appetite as well. Mack continues to support me to the fullest, but I can't help but feeling he is going without.

This is my journal for what I'm so hoping is the last challenge of a 35 year weight loss journey. Wednesday, November 11, 2009. Yesterday was the first day of the fast. All in all, things went well. I didn't have very much food and I went to bed early. But I can't say that I was real hungry at any point throughout the day. I took a 1/2 appetite suppressant and slept through the night. Tomorrow I have an appointment with the Clinical Nutrition Center and will be starting a medically supervised weight loss journey, which I am hoping will be my last challenge to this issue that has plagued me since my teenage years.
