Wednesday, 25 June 2014. Last weekend I went to a location lighting workshop and got to play around with flashes and speed guns outside on what photographers call a 'sunny 16' day. The tutor summed it up as 'not being rocket science' but after the group of us got many scenarios to capture you can see the potential of how images can be manipulated greatly from the use of light which requires some more practice. Now I have a big wish list of gear that I have a feeling Santa may not bring this year :-).

Tuesday, 12 November 2013. An Ode to My Naughty Maine Coon. My Dad has made the mistake of calling my cat Tinkerbell a couple of times and Tinks was not named Tinks for short for that. I guess Tinks is more like 'tinkering around' which is an understatement of my cat's personality. Thankfully we had just emptied it! Tinks is a bundle of energy and there is never a dull moment with her. I feel so lucky to have this amazing cat as my friend and companion. Labels: cats that behave like dogs.

I've always made some sort of gingerbread house for Christmas and wanted to try and make a 'nordic' style gingerbread house this year.
