Welcome to our Website. By the turn of the century, it was almost all gone. not the century just past, but the one before that. When 1899 turned to 1900, 112 years ago, the industry had been decimated by pollution and health concerns. Yet this barge carried on. sometimes a "speakeasy", mostly a neighborhood bar and/or restaurant. Unfortunately time not only marches on, but it sometimes rumbles on, it rampages on, it bulldozes its way to the future. Can you, will you help?
