Thoughts From The Mind Of One Small Woman. Pix of my Princess. The weather here is becoming very summery: humid and warm with occasional storms and showers, and the heat is getting to my dear little girl, who spends most of her days asleep in my bedroom or lying on the floor by the computer when I am using it. Not so my Princess; she, when not napping, is always beside me, sharing my time, her voice asking for attention now and then in the kindest of manners. I just love her! God Bless All Cats. Since I ...

Getting bombarded by Phishers is no fun but sometimes these communications offer some comic relief. This posting is dedicated to the anguished English and linguistic jewels they produce. Thoughts From The Mind Of One Small Woman. I found this little piece and thought it was quite interesting :) I love hedgehogs, though ours here in Australia are a little different and are called "echidnas". They have sharp spines and eat ants. Also known as spiny anteaters. Belong to the family. There are four extant. Are the only surviving members of that order. And are the only extant mammals that lay eggs. They live in New Guinea. The echidnas are named after a monster in ancient Greek mythology.

Thoughts From The Mind Of One Small Woman. What's In A Name? Falls gently from a heaven. Of wonder and a deeper way. And portraits of another time. A fading central core. Wrung with tender pity. And an element of shame. Or tears from eyes. That seem to cry. Monday, September 27, 2010. This semi climber, above, has the loveliest of perfumes. And the luscious bougainvillea which relies on its coloured bracts for splendour, has none, but is beloved by bees for the tiny white centres that make the true flower.

Thoughts From The Mind Of One Small Woman. On Thursday, Sid and I went out for lunch and to shop for a birthday gift for my sister Beverley, whos'e special celebration is in a couple of weeks. Our pets were left "Home Alone" for the duration: Sid's plump little Jamie, my lovely Siamese girl Tiggy and of course my faithful Rusty. Whenever they are left to their own devices for any length of time - be it 10 minutes or 4 hours! Jamie felt the need to give Sid big kisses. And more big kisses. It is with grea...
