Tuesday, November 3, 2009. This year Aubrey played soccer for the first time. It was entertaining for sure! For anyone that has not experienced a bunch of five year old's running up and down a very small field chasing a ball, I recommend it. By the last game Aubrey was getting a little better. She told me that she just likes the running part. She didn't care if she kicked the ball or not. Oh well, at least she got some good exercise. (and a cool medal). Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Saturday, June 4, 2011. I is just kidn". Wow, Amber just cracks me up! Here are a few of the times she made me laugh and shake my head. 1) We were at our friend Kelly's house. She asked Amber, "Where's your tummy? Amber proudly lifts her shirt and shows off her tummy. (this is a game Kelly and Amber have always played) Then Kelly asks her, "Do you have any tickles in there? 2) During prayer she went, "Buuuuurrrrp (fake burp noise) cuse me." giggle giggle "Sorry, I is just kiddin'". What should we sing?

Friday, June 3, 2011. Growing up my Grandma Norma Karlson always had a porch swing. Oh how I loved Grandma's swing. We would sit on there for hours, singing, telling stories, chating, and laughing. Gran would pat my leg with one hand and hold a strong smelling cup of black coffee in her other. I am pretty sure I learned most of lifes great lessons on her swing. When we bought our home one of the first things I bought was a porch swing. I kid you not! They came and suprised me for my birthday!

Saturday, February 26, 2011. Hanna Turns 12 - NO WAY! Hanna had read the Twilight series by Stephenie Meyer shortly before her 12th birthday and LOVED them! So for her birthday she wanted to get a bunch of her Twilight loving friends over for a Twilight movie marathon! She had never seen any of the movies so she was super excited! I couldn't believe some of them stayed up for all three movies! There is one more book and movie in the series but Hanna hasn't got to read it yet. It is a little "steamy"!
