The journey of a lazy man with a small budget and a home with great potential. Thursday, January 24, 2008. So, after owning my home for several years, I have finally found the motivation to fix it up. My home was built in 1920 and, though it has great potential, it has seen better days. This home has seen its share of families, renters, pets and who-knows-what-else. Each having made their own impact on the house. Hopefully I'll have an idea for a weekend project by tomorrow. Sunday, March 13, 2011. They put tiling in under all the downspouts and the tiling runs right into the pond so (knock on wood) this basement has NEVER flooded. Another minor problem I have found with my place besides the runoff is a mucky pond.
