Andy got in touch with our friends who have a house in Pine Mountain Lake and asked if we could stay there for the weekend. So, we were off. Thursday, August 7, 2014. We decided no big parties this year, but a special day with family. Sarah wanted to go to Build a Bear. I offered to take Sarah by herself, but she wanted to go with her brothers! We then had dinner at McDonalds with her cousins and went home for cake and presents! Tuesday, May 27, 2014. For Memorial Day weekend, we headed to Omi's house in Mariposa. Oma and Andy did A LOT of work around the property and I tried to kill the carpenter ants invading the house. They weed whacked until they were shaking and I had ants literally falling from the ceiling! The kids got a lot of DS time! We took a break for dinner at the Pizza Parlor. February 1, 2011. Ava and Clara both have strep. We are working our way through antibiotics to kick this. I'm wondering if we were or are all infected and just don't have many symptoms. Sunday, August 3, 2014. Last summer we took tons of field trips, but swim team has us so busy we only managed to squeeze one in during July. We took the SF ferry to Sausalito and ate fish and chips at a restaurant. It was a gorgeous day and so much fun with our good friends. Taxi ride to the restaurant. The MOST delicious fish and chips at "Fish". Even Miles at them! After walking around we got ice cream. We went to Lake Anza with friends. Another beautiful day! Fourth of July parade!
