Friday, July 17, 2009. We just signed up to sponsor Bablu thru Compassion International. Ken suggested we do this over a year ago- then we went to a concert where they were there so Barigit got to chose a child. It costs less than $35.00 a month and changes a child life in a huge way. Provides them with education, food and a way out of poverty. We would like to encourage all our friends and family to sponsor a child. Bablu is from India and was born on Dec 21, 2001. Ken had some surgery today on a vein in his leg. they used fiber optic laser and closed off a portion of the vein. it was causing a lot of pain and hopefully will make life and work a little less painful. We took them to the La Brea Tar Pits- Ken and I love that place and now Barigit is a big fan too. We took the train to Union station - then took buses and trains all over downtown LA area.
