So she's in the crib in the playroom for now. Biggest recent change. she's a thumbsucker! Love that little girl! Kristin, she is a beauty!

http://mcphiefamily.blogspot.com/2012_10_01_archive.html
Monday, October 29, 2012. My Costume by Drake. Getting excited for Halloween over here. At least the kids are. I'm wanting at least another week in October please. Wednesday, October 10, 2012. I got on my blog and realized that no one was updating it for me. I guess I can at least through up some pictures to prove that we have been surviving since school started. Ryan had a birthday. Drake got pneumonia. :(. I don't think it was because of this. Gwen has lost some teeth. Tawnya had her baby.

Kristin's Contrivances: June 2013
http://mcphiefamily.blogspot.com/2013_06_01_archive.html
Tuesday, June 25, 2013. Mom, can I have a shaver? Want to see one of the cutest selfies ever? Gwen and Austin. hashtagnofilter. I have put a serious limit on the kids screen time this summer. No TV/games until chores are done, and the kids have read for at least 20 minutes. Often this doesn't happen until 4:00 pm if it happens at all! Sometimes I think it's harder on me than on them. Like when I'm studying and the kids are driving me crazy and I want to say "just go watch a movie! This boy is so rad.

Kristin's Contrivances: Eden McPhie
http://mcphiefamily.blogspot.com/2013/10/eden-mcphie.html
Sunday, October 20, 2013. It's hard to believe it was over a week ago that I had Eden. Time is just going too fast while I'm trying to soak up every single new-born moment with her. She is just so precious, I can't stand it! But I know I've got to get this written down before I forget more of the little details. There was a lot of uncertainty going into this labor. The weather was finally cooling off at night, and I loved the time we got to spend together and the talks we had. On the next contraction, ag...

Monday, September 16, 2013. Babies are coming. 37 weeks. My sister, Tara, and I had our boys on the same day 7 years ago. Since then, she had two more, and we thought our baby years were behind us. So it was a super surprise when we found out that we were pregnant together again, our estimated due dates only three days apart! She's having a girl, we're having a surprise! Luckily, Ryan eventually got on board and is down for a surprise. Tara's baby is going to be like 10 pounds! And here I am. 37 week...

Tuesday, November 19, 2013. My baby is 6 weeks old. I don't know how it happened, but she's not a new born anymore. We're still trying to adjust to life and figure out our new normal. 104 pounds (75th percentile). Starting to like the passy - but struggles to keep it in. Eats every 2-3 hours. Spits up a lot. Likes blankets/hands/a body up against her face. Starting to talk - her cooing melts my heart! Tracks us with her eyes. Likes looking at lights. Gwen and Edie getting some rays. Pumpkin Cupcakes with...

Kristin's Contrivances: sewing room
http://mcphiefamily.blogspot.com/2013/09/sewing-room.html
Friday, September 27, 2013. Anyway, the "meth lab" became our dumping room. It held all the boxes and things we didn't want to deal with when we moved in. It was nasty. Fast forward to school being over, me being 8.5 months pregnant, and I wanted to start sewing. I love to sew! My poor sewing machine had been packed away forever, and I was ready to get it out. Babies were coming, and I needed to get creating! The only problem was, was I needed a space to do it. Enter nasty meth lab. Cant wait to see what...

Kristin's Contrivances: August 2012
http://mcphiefamily.blogspot.com/2012_08_01_archive.html
Thursday, August 23, 2012. Today was my first day of my last. And since I don't have a wife or a mother to insist on first day of school pictures, I have no visual proof to show you. But since I am a mother of kids who already started school, I do have back to school pictures of them! Drake - 1st grade, and Gwen - 3rd grade. The first day of school their bus was 1/2 an hour late getting them home! Both of them had just sweated through their shirts and had their hair sticking to their wet little faces.
