Abel has so much fun with his grandparents and we are thankful that they make the long trip to come out and see us. We stayed busy for the week! The Life of J and K. It's Really About the Baby. Tuesday, May 24, 2011. It's been a while since our last post - two months actually! Sorry for the delay. We were busy in April with visitors and then our AC adapter went on the fritz so our computer wasn't working. All that to say, no pictures of Abel. He's been changing a lot! He wasn't much of a fan at first. But now he loves to eat! He came from across the room to get my shoe. And, he has teeth! Here are some more pictures from the past couple months.

The Life of J and K. It's Really About the Baby. Tuesday, April 10, 2012. So it's been a while. Over six months. I fell off the posting wagon and it was easier to stay off. I'm not promising that I will post regularly again, but here are some pictures from the past several months. Abel has grown up a lot! He has started walking, talking in his own language (though we only understand a little of it), dancing, playing chase with daddy - he's so much fun. It's a really great age! Hanging out with Grandma.

The Life of J and K. It's Really About the Baby. Monday, November 15, 2010. Abel is getting big! We can't believe he's already 5 weeks old. We had a doctor's appointment and he weighs 9 lbs 1 oz! At his 2 week appt, he weighed 7 lbs 3 oz, which means he has almost gained 2 lbs in 3 weeks! That is ridiculous. He is going to be a chunkster! Here are some pictures of his faces. The Life of J and K. It's Really About the Baby. Thursday, March 24, 2011. Grandma and Grandpa B are here for a visit! Abel is getting lots of love and attention (and new clothes! We had him dedicated at church on Sunday. It was a nice service. The pictures didn't turn out that well at church, but we got some good ones afterwards. My mom got him a new outfit - he looked very handsome and all grown up! We gave him a bath yesterday and my mom thought to try out his sunglasses - isn't this picture adorable?

Friday, September 5, 2014. First day of kindergarten and high school. Can you believe that's the real actual title of this post? And if I think about it too much I'll start bawling! It was a blessing that Calvin was home to take her - she does much better when he drops her off. This morning when I dropped her off, she was clingy and didn't want me to leave. But her teacher grabbed her hand, and off she went! First day breakfast - Rice Krispies - her new favorite! Aren't their little lockers so cute?

They have an extension here in Green Bay now, so I can either take classes there or online. I'll take my first class this fall. I can't wait! Oh, and some cute Sadie pictures of course-. Tuesday, December 28, 2010. We started the holidays by making our cookies. We always make just one gingerbread man per person, and this year Sadie put on her own sugar. On Christmas Eve, we went to my mom's in the evening. Sadie got a lot of toys and books. She helped open her presents a little, but she was just more interested in playing with them once they were open. Christmas Day we went to Frank's. He got Sadie a table for her room. Sunday, November 23, 2014. My girl loves to write and draw! Every time we go to Mom and Dad's without the dogs, she has to write them cards. And then give them to the dogs when we get back.
