Monday, April 6, 2009. Installing Oxford Advanced Lerner's Dictionary (OALD7) in Fedora Core 10. When I migrated to Fedora Core 10 (from fc8), it was a real pain installing Oxford Advanced Lerner's Dictionary (OALD7). These are the steps I followed to install it successfully. Yum install gtk -1.2.10-66.fc10.i386. Yum -y install *fonts*. It is around 199MB. If you want to listen to the pronounciation of each word, install the MP3 plugin using $ yum install xine-lib-extras-freeworld.i386.
