January 17, 2013 · 9:26 pm. When I was reading The Art of Racing in the Rain. I was wondering whether or not Enzo could be trusted. By that I mean if he could be considered to be a reliable narrator. A reliable narrator is important because it makes the novel clearer by eliminating a sense of uncertainty and bias. So for these reasons, I don’t see Enzo as a reliable narrator.
