Decongesting My Mind

Tuesday, August 10, 2010. I never did love children. I thought they were all selfish attention seeking, insane little humans, I remember when my cousin was born, I kept as far out of reach as was possible, that meant even offering to go give the cows a graze in the middle of the day. So when another young girl came over and gave me a card and a lollipop last week, I couldn’t help it when I got home and read what she wrote, she thanked me for being her friend. I sobbed. Decongesting My Mind: poem

http://theliteraryfolder.blogspot.com/2009/08/poem.html

Monday, August 17, 2009. When he said his mind was made up-. I said please care you never look back;. He said darling, you're still young in years,. He said his years gave certainity, I thought they gave suspicion. He could have been a farmer's son. He might have been a chief, NO. he was just a brother not even a son. He said, look Jane, look darling how the sky turns red,. Perhaps the sun burned up,. Remember the forest fires,. Anger and passion burns like frest fires. His wisdom came out.

Decongesting My Mind: My Favourite chizi(mad man)

http://theliteraryfolder.blogspot.com/2009/08/my-favourite-chizimad-man.html

Monday, August 17, 2009. My Favourite chizi(mad man). Sometimes he likes to spread himself out on the fly over, and have the pedestrians walk round him on. I had stopped giving him change when I realized he used it on alcohol and cigarettes but when I saw him watering his flowers, I have started to drop a few when I can. I wonder about mad people sometimes. My friend , Kairu once told me that mad people think it is the rest of the world which is mad. Posted by Gathoni @ 4:47 AM. Thank you for reading.

Decongesting My Mind: musings

http://theliteraryfolder.blogspot.com/2009/10/musings.html

Sunday, October 18, 2009. I love you softly. I love you quietly. Like a song played on a keyboard. I love you gently. I love you tenderly. Like a mother rocking her child to sleep. I love you definitely. I love you with certainty. Like my first crush. I love you in my mind. I love you in my chest. Like The after taste of a good thing. I love you when I see you. I love you even when I don’t. Like grandparents love young ones. I love you is like a quiet song. My love for you s gentle , tender.

Rambling and dabbling in books of all sorts. Rereading Howard’s End is on the Landing by Susan Hill. Asymp; Leave a comment. A year of reading from home. Howard's End is on the Landing. Just as Susan Hill revisits favorite and forgotten books in this charming memoir, I bought myself a copy and read it again, appreciating it more, I think, than two years ago, since I’d read and heard of more of the writers she covers. Since reading A Room of One’s Own. Rating: * * *. Asymp; 2 Comments. Birds are highly in...
