About The Literate Pen. Ramblings of a Southern Writer by J. M. Brewer. Posted by J. M. Brewer. Asymp; 8 Comments. Memorial Day was never a day he and his fellow surviving Veterans took lightly. His surviving the war gave him a great deal of spiritual reflection and led him in the years after the War to become a minister. North Africa, February 10, 1944. A collection of recipes and ramblings. Asymp; 2 Comments. I’m helping fill in for Hungry Hungry Hilary while she is on Mommy Leave, and I’m THRILLED to be the one to announce on her blog that her baby has arrived! Baby Natalie joined the world on June 13, two weeks before her official due date! I’m sure Hilary will give more details later, but I’m happy to say that both mommy and baby are healthy and doing great. And here are a few pictures of the beautiful new addition! Isn’t she so cute? A collection of recipes and ramblings. Asymp; 2 Comments. Admittedly, not a very creative title, but I love the song and I’m feeling more tired than creative these days. Sue me.😉 (But really, don’t. You won’t get much, I promise.). Except lots and lots of green, too. Now it’s all pretty much green and feels quite like summer. We got so many that, in addition to eating. As is, I froze a bunch for smoothies later (tonight…? And decided to make shortcake to serve them with. Photo credit: Nicole Kornblatt.

A collection of recipes and ramblings. Asymp; 1 Comment. My name is AJ, and I know Hilary through her sister-in-law and fellow-blogger. I have a periodic blog called Eat with AJ. For this guest blog, it seems like the perfect time of year to talk about gardening. As someone who loves to cook, visiting farmers markets has always been exciting to me. So, it was only natural that when I moved out of my apartment and into a house, I would have a garden. Let’s grow a watermelon! One of us said. Our most succe...

Blog in Evolution: Invertebrate Anatomy
http://blog-in-evolution.blogspot.com/2011/07/invertebrate-anatomy.html
Sunday, July 10, 2011. E used to have courses like that back in pre-med. It involves studying snails, slugs, and other lower life forms - not the most fascinating topic in the world. However, I encounter it with much more interest nowadays. One of my more worthwhile impulse buys was an order for ornamental aquarium shrimps. Yup, that's right, you can buy pretty much anything you want on the net nowadays. They're fun critters - one of my best investments ever! Sunday, July 10, 2011. The art of resistance.

Blog in Evolution: Update on Basil Cuttings
http://blog-in-evolution.blogspot.com/2011/06/update-on-basil-cuttings.html
Sunday, June 19, 2011. Update on Basil Cuttings. I haven't done much gardening lately, on account of a little health snag. Most of my green work happened inside the house. These are the cuttings that I left out to root 5 days ago. Bringing Fresh Herbs in the Kitchen. Basil is something I must have perennially - and I'm thankful that we are in an area where spring is eternal. Ok, a bit of an exaggeration - but we can grow these things year-round, even in scorching summer - and that's good enough for me.

The Literate Schizo's Blog | From Here in this World diagnosed with an ongoing mental health condition, not university educated, omitting assumption but not deduction. What do you think about that?
The Literate Schizo's Blog. Prepared Love protecting Mentally Ill. February 18, 2016. How can a person prepare for mental health as a problem in the family. Most people did not want anything to do with for fear of tempting fate. And when their loved ones began acting “weird” they called a man whose title indicated mental problem expertise. What else? I give thanks because Almighty Farther has shown me beyond material. I call out Gods name when I sense immediate danger and as yet have not been forsaken.
