The Cache Valley Edition. 2013 January 8, 2014. 8212; Pamela @ 8:00 am. I generally dislike the many, many posts I read from friends, family, and acquaintances about what a horrible year 20xx was and how they have such a great feeling about the upcoming 20xy. It’s always the same. At the end of 20xy there will be a post about how miserable it was and how 20xz has something great in store for them. I dunno if this is one of those posts or not. Maybe it is. Pot, meet Kettle. Or is it like having kids?

One Block Over: September to September = A Quilt Top
http://oneblockover.blogspot.com/2012/09/hi-2011-group-it-was-last-september.html
Thursday, September 20, 2012. September to September = A Quilt Top. It was last September that I asked you to make my wonky-looking, rectangle-shaped blocks. So I'm please to say that one year later, "It's a top! It measures 55" X 70". I'm pretty happy with it, and hope to do some creative quilting, especially in that long negative space. I'll be sure to post pictures of the finish. It was a fun experience. Linda. who used to live in Iowa, but has now lived in Florida for three months. Made by a brunnette.

One Block Over: June 2013
http://oneblockover.blogspot.com/2013_06_01_archive.html
Thursday, June 6, 2013. Another One Block Over Finish. It's been been 21 months since One Block Over quilters made wonky stacked strip-type blocks for me. And it's been 9 months since I finished sewing together the quilt top. Slow yes, but steady-on with crossing UFOs off the list. It's 53" X 67". I spent hours free motion quilting on my Pfaff Grand Quilter using YLI variegated orange-yellow thread, and YLI medium gray thread. I don't have a clue what I'm going to name it. Suggestions? Made by a brunnette.

This is my effort to keep everyone I know and love, up to date with my life. Let's see what I'm up to now. Thursday, March 08, 2012. Finding Balance in a Digital World. I recognize the irony of sharing this with you digitally. But there are some positives to living in a digital world, I'm not an Anti-Digite. (trying to reference Seinfeld there). I just agree with the idea there needs to be a balance. In addition to these checklists, I recommend a talk by Elder Bednar entitled, "Things as They Really Are".

NewYorkNut: A New Calling
http://nynut.blogspot.com/2011/10/new-calling.html
This is my effort to keep everyone I know and love, up to date with my life. Let's see what I'm up to now. Sunday, October 16, 2011. I am in Scouts. Back to Primary! My calling is specifically over recruiting. I get to plan semi-annual events to get kids and parents excited about scouts and spread the word about how awesome it is to be a cub scout. Not having gone through scouts myself, I had to read up on it a bit, as well as go through an online training session. Scouting IS awesome! Follow, Follow Me.
