We had breakfast in a little restaurant named Pamela’s, near the campus of the University of Pittsburgh. Their specialty is really, really thin hotcakes, so, of course, I had to try them. Guess what we saw on the way back, . yup. acres of cornfields, turbines, road closed signs, and traffic! Just reverse this blog and you will be reminded of all those wonderful sites. Today, we are off to Gooseberry State Park for a picnic and dip in Lake Superior. Well, ok, to be honest, only Barbara’s feet dipped in Lake Superior’s crystal blue waters…. temp only about 50 degrees. The ride up north to the park was just breathtaking! On the way back to the apartment, I noticed a Laker heading towards Duluth. Goody! The top the Ninth.
